Daryl’s production careers spans over 20 years and began with the earliest days of mobile gaming. Daryl’s live service journey began in 2010 at an indie developer with Trade Nations on Facebook, before the game was brought onto iOS. This lit the fire for Daryl’s Live Service passion which was further fueled by joining EA and taking on The Simpsons: Tapped Out for Android, iOS and Amazon.
The game showed Daryl everything from the crushing lows of what can happen when things go wrong, to the highs of when you get everything right. From rampant player data corruption, backend and central tech services being unable to handle load, being delisted from the app store, to a relaunch and beating revenue plan by 100% - Live Service is a constantly evolving challenge.
