SPEAKER: James Lyons

James has 18 years of experience in the games industry, and trained at AnimationMentor under Pixar and Dreamworks animators. He has had Lead roles at Eurocom and Climax studios before moving to The Chinese Room in 2019. Working on such titles as Goldeneye: Reloaded, Deadspace, Adventure Time, Dreamworks Dragons- Dawn of New Riders and Little Orpheus. He started a YouTube channel in 2017 with a view to create highly accessible animation tutorials for begginer animators to learn from, and has expanded into teaching/mentoring students from around the globe, and has to date, mentored over 15 people into the industry.
